Rainy Days and Lego Craze
Hey everyone!
So last night my lil bro and I were supposed to have back to back games and team pictures! A busy night at the ball fields! I was really excited for our second game and Micah's first. But apparently the weather wasn't planning on being cooperative! Both games and picture night was cancelled due to the big storm that would roll in about 9 that night. It was a pretty rough storm and it has put a major kink in my poor lil bro's game schedule! The game that was planned for 11 this morning has been canceled as well due to the wet conditions of the fields. :( I'm hoping that my game that my game (supposedly at 3) isn't canceled as well!
On a happier note, Micah has been getting into LEGOs lately and just recently he received a dinosaur set! However even though he likes to play with them he doesn't have the patience to build them! Lol! So while we were stuck inside he asked me to construct this tiny but intimidating little T-Rex (out of about 200 pieces mind you!). So after working on for roughly a little under an hour this is what has been created...

Choir Concert!
Hey everyone,
This past Sunday the youth choir at my church that I am a part of had our annual spring concert. I am so happy with how it went. However this fun night didn't go without a few hiccups. That day my best friend who I was supposed to be doing a duet with ended up getting the stomach bug. :( I was contacted by our choir director a mere few hours before we were supposed to go on telling me that she wouldn't be there. I was so scared! I knew the words to her part of the song but there was a line that we sang together and she sang the melody which was a quite high part and I sang harmony. But since she wasn't there I had to sing the melody. Yeah... you know that part I was talking about that's super high? I had to sing that now!!!!! Needless to say... I was nervous!!! However, I got up there and I gave it my best and I know that that is what pleases The Lord!!! Our biggest wish for the concert was that it glorified Him and I hope it did! Great job everyone! We did it!

First Game of the Season!
Hey everyone,
So today was opening day for my softball league!!! We had the parade this morning that myself and my little brother (Who also plays) walked in. And then after that, in the first senior girls softball game of the season, my team, the Giants... won!!
It was an amazing and very close game! Both pitchers threw hard and strong, and we had some really good hits. We were home so we got to bat last. The last inning came around and we were tied, 7 to 7! We only needed one run and And sure enough I was first up to bat! I got up there and he called two balls one after another. Then, one passed on the outside of the plate but it was low, too low. But for some reason the umpire decided to put even more pressure on me by calling it a strike. But no worries, the next two were balls which walked me to first base. The next girl came up to bat and I stole second. Then I stole third. They tried to make a play on me but I slid into the base.(I was so happy!) Then the girl up to bat hit one down the middle. I ran hard down the line and... stepped onto HOME BASE!!!!!!!! WE WON THE GAME!!!!! I was so happy to be able to seal the deal on what my team worked so hard for... THE WIN!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so happy and even more ecstatic about the season to come. I am also so proud of my amazing team! Thanks for fighting till thee end out there today! WE DID IT GUYS!!!!

So Lately... (And Music Monday!)
Hey everyone!
So right now I'm sitting in the library at college enduring the 3 hour break between my English class and my first session of Drivers Ed. I'm definitely excited to be taking the course since it means one step closer to having my license! However, I am not to happy about the wait between classes, but we live like twenty minutes from the college so it wouldn't make much sense to go home and come back. So I will endure...
I hope that everything is going well with all my blog world friends out there. I hope that you had a great Easter. I know I did! It's always fun to get the family together! Lol! Unfortunately though one of my uncles and his family that live out of town but usually spend Easter with us weren't able to make it this year. So I definitely missed being able to see them!!!
I am so looking forward to this spring weather that's heading our way!!! I live in MD and so lately it has NOT felt like spring weather yet! (It was freezing during my so called "spring" break!!!) However, this week is supposed to be a lot warmer! YAY!!!!
Anywho, today is the second day of the week and you know what that means.... Music Monday!!! Ready for a sample from my playlist????
